UPFOS system tutorial basic 4/7 Logistics Vendor
Hi everyone welcome to today's video and in this video we're going to talk about logistic vendor management. Logistic vendors provide logistic services for the seller and UPFOS is now integrated with J&T. After we log into the system we are going to see the dashboard. Let's go to the user center -> system setting -> logistic vendor page. Now we can see all the logistic vendors that we have added to the system here in the list. To add a new one click the add button.
Input all the required information like logistic code logistic name. They are unique, seller defined code and name for your logistic vendor.
This is the contact name for your logistic vendor. This is the mobile number. For logistic label template you have to first set it up in our template management then you can reference it in the drop down menu here. For logistic vendor logo, we currently have three options, and it's going to be shown on the label template. If you are a Shopee seller remember to expand this option here and select whether you want the logistic company to come and pick up, or you drop off your product at their location. You can select the shopee store, and click confirm.
After you have added your logistic company the default status is going to be activated. You can turn it off and after you turn it off it will be inside the deactivated list.
We have four buttons in the panel for logistic company. Edit, docking, match express and delivery authorization. Using the edit button you can edit your information.
Docking is used when we need to connect to third-party logistics and get information directly from them. One scenario is when you have an offline business that does not go through platform. In this case you could set up the logistic vendors so that UPFOS can access required logistic information directly from the company. The docking process establishes the connection between the logistics vendor created on UPFOS and the third-party logistic vendor. So this is only used when you are using that service. Logistic vendors may have different code on different platforms and by using matching express we set one logistic vendor in UPFOS as a reference to all of them.
The fourth button delivery authorization is still under development.
After we have created our logistic vendor we can set up our matching rules similar to the warehouse. Tags can be put on stores and orders so that designated logistics service will be used for specific tagged stores and orders. For example store with tag A will always use J&T while stored with tag B will always use another logistic vendor. So to set up that rule we go to matching rules tab and click add rules. We can select the status and usually we select activate because we want to use that rule. We can select the logistic vendor name and we select the tag. The tag is created in the tag management in user center. We will talk about it in a different session. But if you already have a tag created you can select it from the drop down menu. You can set up a priority for the logistic vendor so if multiple vendors match an order the higher priority one will be used. You can input the notes and click confirm. After these information are saved this rule will be shown on this list.
We have two buttons for the rules, the edit where you can edit your rule, and just like the warehouse you can view your rule. Okay that's it for this tutorial thank you very much for watching and I'll see you in the next video !
